Blood Donor

Last Saturday I went to my ex Elementary School, It was SDN Cempaka Baru 09 previously it was SD 09 Pagi. There were so many memories from the school, especially about on how I competed my close friend, Heru. We competed in our school rank. From the competition made me studied harder and lucky me I could be accepted in SMP 119 Jakarta.

Last Saturday I joined an activity in that school, it is "donor darah" in Indonesia language. It was a good a idea to conduct such kind of idea. By doing such kind of activity we can also help others who need blood. Based on my experiences, sometimes it is difficult to get blood.

I remember my late father in law who need many blood at that time. We checked The Indonesian Red Cross Solo branch, and there were not enough blood stocks there. It was a terrible experience.

Neighborhood Place Not Always Bad

It's quite often we think a good place for relaxing should be far and expensive, therefore some places in Puncak are full on holidays.

This is about my experience with my wife on which we need a place for relax on a Saturday evening.


After teaching on Saturday afternoon, I asked my wife to go out of home that evening. One of our destination is a movie theater in Thamrin street. We went out, but after a while on the road, my wife asked me "What's the film?"

I said "I don't know".

Getting A Job

Getting a job is a must-challenge for a new graduates person. The faster he/she gets the job, it's the better, and the contrary, the longer he/she gets the job the worse it is.



For those who has an entrepreneurship talent, will not care whether he/she gets the job or not, he/she will do her/his own business. He/she can make money by him/herself.

Yesterday was holiday and it was great day. Yesterday was a holiday and it was the last school holiday.

My wife and I planed to go to Bandung previous days before but after we checked the hotels there, all were fully occupied, so we changed our destination to others. We checked hotels in Jakarta especially near the sea but all were fully booked. After discussing the situation, finally we went to Ancol.

Yesterday, July 9, 2010, I went nowhere until 3 pm except for Friday Prayer.

After finishing my Friday Prayer I went to SMP 183 and SD Cempaka Baru 01 and 02. I captured some views for my http://cempakabaru.blogspot.com/. After capturing some views, I went home cause I had a class at 1.30 pm.

I didn't teach class at 3-4.30 pm and 4.30-6 pm. At 5 pm I went out with my wife to a money changer.

Actually it was not far to reach Ayu Mas, but due to heavy traffic jam, so we just reached there at 6.30pm, it took 1 and half hours to reach there.

I couldn't handle class at 7-8.30pm, so I asked Bogi to teach. I handled class at 8.30-10 pm.

I am picking up my wife now. My wife is at Labschool Kebayoran.

As usual the traffic jam in Sudirman is very bad. I can not run more than 20 km/h and must stop for 1 - 2 min.

If the traffic jam is not settled in the future, it's possible that many companies prefer to have their office in other area not in sudirman-thamrin. May be.

In front of Ratu Plaza the situation is also in traffic jam. The que is also long. Oh my god, since year 2000 the traffic here was bad. And now, its'n different even worse.

At 4 pm I arrived at labs kebayoran. I saw my wife and then some of the teachers joined us home.

I droped them at labschool rawamangun. It was heavy rain and I also saw toll road from Priok to Cawang was traffict jam.

When I am writing this article, it's raining. The rain is very heavy.

Actually right now is July. July is usually in dry season, however the climate is changing so the dry season becomes rainy season.

When I am writing this, I met Firdha, my lovely student, she was passing by maybe to buy something.

July 5th, 2010

Last night after teaching my private class, I went out to buy for medicines but Trijaya the medicine store had already closed. So I decided to buy this morning.

I went to Indomaret to buy other products. I wanted to buy neck stripe of World Cup, but I couldn't find it there. I saw it few days ago when I was in Gunung Agung, Arion. It was good and expensive.

I saw the WC's products right now are discounted. Mmmmh may be because WC is almost finish, and people's life are back to normal again.

This 6 o'clock I will go outside to go to Rini medicine store, to buy some Topamax and Delantin for my daughter.

Oh ya when I was in Indo  Maret, I met Wisnu, the son of late Mrs Dasini, my teacher. He told me about the late reunion we did few months ago. We are from SMP 119 Jakarta. He was batch 1985 and I was batch 1987. I told jim that only batch 1983 and 1985 didn't want to join, althoud I had told them that other bayches like 1980, 1986, 1987, 1989, and some also do the same thing but still they joined the Reuni Akbar.

Mmmm it is no meaning to tell about the past, the best is tell the future, Past is only for our records.

This morning I was so tired because I went to bed late, I could say it was already in the morning, because the clock shown me that it was 3 am.


I was so tired, I woke up at 5 am and after praying, I went to sleep again. My daughter, Afi, was still sleeping, She was sleeping very well.


If I remembered last night, I was so lucky that we were not in the circuss arena, but in Bango Festival. I watched two ambulances last night. Those ambulance were so in a hurry, and there were some security guards leading the ambulances so they could get out of the crowd. I just wondered what happened.


In the morning, when I saw Yahoo and iGoogle, I just knew that there were two victims because of the broken circus area. Thanks God, I was lucky I didn't watch it with Laila and Afi last night.


This morning 8-11 am, I taught Ms Rully for preparing the interview and presentation test tomorrow. One of the material that I gave her was about to present graphic and table. I will write about reading table and graphic in separate article in this blog, this is very important and I want to share my experiences in doing presentation and interview.

This afternoon I went to Alif and Alfi's khitan party. Both of them are my students in my english. Alif is a soft boy but Alfi is the opposite. When I met them, Alif was sitting on the sofa, while Alfi was  hanging around.

After shaking hands with the parents and talking for a while, I took for the dish and enjoyed the dish. I watched the entertainment "maramis". They performed well. The following are my pictures when I was in the party.

After attending the party, I would like to take my daughter to Book Fair in Istora Senayan. When I reached home, I told Laila, the nanny to prepared Afi my daughter to go to Istora.

Around 4 pm Afi was ready and then we went to Istora. Although it was Saturday, but the traffict was so bad. In Sudirman, we couldn't run more than 5 km per hour. Finally we reached Istore at 5.30 pm. The weather was so dark. I told Laila to bring the umbrella with us. And then within few minutes, what I afraid of  came true. The rain falled. We expected that the rain was not that long, but in fact it was very long, and it was heavy rain. The traffict inside Bung Karno stadium was in heavy traffict jam.

We arrived home at 8 pm safely.

What a nice Saturday. Last night I watched the soccer game, but I was not that happy because Brazil lost, but whatever it was, there should be some lost or win in a game/competition.


I would like to tell story about my Saturday. Yesterday I went to Daihatsu workd shop to have my car maintained. I had already did booking for the service, but because it was so traffic jam to get there,  I was late to come there/ I reached there at about 8.18 am. I reported, to the officer that I had booked for the service. Finally they asked to wait and then no so long someone came and asked about my car.


Within few minute my car had already been taken into the work station. The magic of doing the service booking.

Waiting was really boring, I just drank coffee and had a bread. But may be I was lucky, because at the same I saw there were some activities. I saw some people brought camera and some tools for shooting,

After paying more attention few minutes later, finally I found the answer. That the real show they wanted to make was together with an artist. I didn't know the artist but the followoing are the pictures of the car with the artist.

After finishing all things in Daihatsu store, I went home, but when I went out it was time for Friday prayer. I thought hard where should I go on this tiny minutes to reach the mosque. Finally I passed through Cempaka Mas, and then I parked my car at the nearest place to the mosque.

In the afternoon I went to Gunung Agung to buy some books and in the eveing I taught a private class. 

One funny thing, actually the private class finished at 10 pm, because there was a soccer competition between Holland and Brazil on which my friend was one of the fan., he didn't concetrate. He went home 30 minutes earlier. Why he was not that concentrate due to in my neighbourhood, some neighbours watched the game on the road. They watched together. Their voice was very hard, so it made my private student not concentrate.
