Diego bed cover

Yesterday I went to Arion Mall. My daughter has a hobby to visit book store to buy Diego's C D or DVD, but yesterday I was surprised when she told she didn't want to buy CD or DVD, she wanted to buy other thing.

When we were in the second floor suddenly she entered a bedding shop and she pointed a bed cover with Diego picture. Mmm I knew what she wanted to buy. No choice I must buy it otherwise she would be very upset.

busway

Yesterday afternoon I went to Blok M, to go to Andri's house. He will have English test to day (Wednesday).

I went there by busway. I know that at around 4 pm, Sudirman and Thamrin street are very crowded. In fact yesterday, when I entered Thamrin street near Monas, the sign of heavy traffict jam could be seen, so I dropped to Sarinah and I parked my car in Sarinah and then I took busway to go to Blok M.

On the way to Blok M, the bus was so crowded, I stood up. i really enjoyed taking the bus moreover when I saw the sorrounding, Thamrin and Sudirman street, - traffict jam! Yes, heavy traffict jam. I just imagined if I drove in the traffict jam, offcourse I spent many hours. Luckily I took busway.

When I went home, I also took busway. It was about 6.30 pm. The passenger from Blok M to Kota were not that crowded. I reached Sarinah at 6.45 pm, I took my car and went home. I arrived home at 7.15 pm.

Taking busway is nice to save time and energy, hopefully it will improve its service.

heavy rain on sunday

Jakarta was hit by heavy rain on sunday, march 13, 2011. The rain was so heavy, so when I was driving I couldn't see the road clearly. It might I could only see the sorrounding below 10 meters.

However when I reached Semanggi the rain stopped or might be that the rain hadn't reached the area.

Hopefully such a heavy rain do not happen at the same time. Why? If it happens then Jakarta in flood.

sunny day

When I was in above locations, in I was on the way to pick up my daughter from school. It was so hot and sunny day.

The sky was white but not blue. Hopefully there is no heavy rain in the evening/night, because if heavy rain happen for long hour, we are worry of rain.

bright afternoon

Today was a sunny day. When I was on the way to Kebun Nanas the weather was so hot and bright. When I saw the sky it was great because it's very clear sky.

Story Telling Competition - Labschool Kebayoran

This morning, I went to Labschool Kebayoran, Radio Dalam. I became one of the jury in Story Telling competition conducted by the school. The participants were from Elementary and Junior High School.

I was one of the jury for elementary school level. In the competition, their performances, although they are in Elementary school were very good. It's really great to see how they performed their story. If only many story telling competitions are often conducted by schools in Jakarta, it will be great point to develop the skills of English among the children.

Beautiful Panorama in The Morning

This morning I went to Radio Dalam, in Kebayoran to become an English Story Telling competion conducted by SMP Labschool Kebayoran (I will put the photos in separated postings). The following are the photos when I passed through Wiyoto Wiyono toll road. The weather was very good. It was bright and the sky is clean.

It was very extraordinary view for me. If only toll road in Jakarta is always like that. It will be very nice to live in Jakarta.
