Yesterday was holiday and it was great day. Yesterday was a holiday and it was the last school holiday.

My wife and I planed to go to Bandung previous days before but after we checked the hotels there, all were fully occupied, so we changed our destination to others. We checked hotels in Jakarta especially near the sea but all were fully booked. After discussing the situation, finally we went to Ancol.

Before going to Ancol, we made a plan on what location we were to visit. We decided to go to Gondola and Sea World. We didn't visit DUFAN because the place would be so crowded and considering the games we could play may be only one or two, so we decided not to go to DUFAN.

At 8 am we started to go out of our home and we reached Ancol about 8.20 am. It was so nice because there were not so many people came, yet. We would like to take Gondola but it wasn't opened yet. We wait for moment a finally we got the ticket at 9 am.

We were five people, and a Gondola could carry maximum was 6 people. It was nice to ''fly'' above Ancol. We could see so many people were playing on the sand, at the beach, and in the swimming pool, even we could see the Jakarta sea.

After few minutes we took Gondola, it took us back to the pool again.

From the Gondola, we took a bus. The bus was provided by Ancol management. It's free of charge. We could see the sorrounding, we could also enjoy the panorama around the beach.

We were on the bus until we reached Sea World. When the bus was near Sea World we get off the bus.

It was worth to visit Sea World, because my daughter, Afi could learned about the sea life. She was very happy when she touched turtles, watched eel. She was also happy to see the fish when we were in the tunnel under the big aquarium. The panorama was very good.

Around 11 am we went home. We had lunch in a steak house in Cempaka Putih. This steak house was not expensive but nice.

At 6.30 pm I accompanied my wife to send a parcel at TIKI Pemuda. But before we went there, she bought something at Arion Mal. She bought some wrappers in Indogrosir.

Actually when we were in the Arion Mal, we would like to have some drinks in Dunkin Dounuts. The time shown 9 pm, its closing time at 10 pm, but when we were there, when my wife stood in front of the waitress, nobody care of our order. All the waiters and waitresses acted as if they didn't see us, simply they didn't want to serve us! Seeing such a bad service, we went out without buying anything, maybe start from that time I will not buy anything at Dunkin Dounuts.

We went out and then we reached TIKI, from TIKI I had dinner at a nice cafe in Taman Solo, the waitress and the waiters were very nice guys.
