Traditional Food Sellers

Both sellers are the sellers of my favourite food. One seller is the seller of Nasi Liwet, and the other one is the seller of coconut cookies. I like both food.
Those two sellers have been selling the food since 1990s. At that time I was studying at Sebelas Maret University. After 15 years we meet again. What a nice nostalgia. @travelling to solo

Merapi Merbabu

I was lucky this morning, when sun was not that bright I could see Merapi and Merbabu mountain.

My position is in Gonilan village. It is located in Sukoharjo. I could see them clearly from Gonilan.

Merapi who just errupted few days ago still produces smoke until now, but may be always produces smoke because it is an active mountain.

Tax for warteg?

The city administrative recently would like to apply 10 percent tax and right now it is still under discussion in the legislative.

If all wartegs in Jakarta are charged with tax. What about such sellers in the photo? These sellers are very easy to get Rp 167.000 per day. Will they be charged? Warteg is not mobile seller but these sellers are very mobile.

If they are not charged, but warteg is charged, so it is not fair. While tax must be fair.

Hopefully the city administratives will not apply any taxes to warteg.

Yearly Parking Fee

Car's police number is very important for car's identification. If the number is not complete then the police should ticket the driver.

How will the city government will apply yearly car parking fee if the small thing like this can't be control. Will the yearly parking fee cost be managed properly if such a small thing can't be settled?

School Is the cause of traffic jam?

The pictures above were captured at 11.30 am on Pemuda street. On this street there are some schools. Right now the schools are holiday, why then the traffic jam still happened? Do the city administrators still think that the school are the main cause of traffic jam?

I dropped my wife to Cipayung, and I made good use of my time to captured some views in Cipayung, Gadog, Bogor, and Jagorawi. It's been more thatn 5 years I didn't past through Jagorawi or to Bogor and Puncak. It was on Monday morning so the traffic jam was not bad.

JUST NOW I was from Bu Rita's house near blok M. The weather is not that hot even cloudy. The traffic is also not bad, cause I can drive nicely.

On the way to drive home I heard an intermezo clip in i-Radio. The story teller, M. Rafiq told about UI and ITB graduatees who worked as fake crocodile and lion. Both of them worked as fake animal due to they get difficulty to get a job. It's very nice joke.

On Welcome statue in Hotel Indonesia circle, I saw some crews of film. They are movie workers. They are making movie. It seems that making movie must be ready with any location and ocasion. He he I know nothing about making movie.

Destiny

YESTERDAY there was a motor cycle lost. The motor cycle was parked in front of my neighbour's house. It happened at 7 pm in the evening.

Talking about missing motor cycle, bicycle always hurt. In my course there were two bicycles lost within 3 years. Therefore I always lock the gate now.

In my opinion it is a best protection. We must be in alert before bad things happened. If we have done our efforts but still the bad things happened we say it DESTINY.

The objective of the HICD/Education program is to build human capacity through scholarship opportunity in support of the GOI Ministry of Education (MONE), Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA), and Coordinating Ministry for People`s Welfare (KESRA), to better carry on quality improvements to basic education and higher education sub-sectors.

Program participants will receive a Master`s Degree in Education in areas such as:

• Education Policy and Management
• Human Development and Psychology
• International Education Policy
• Language and Literacy
• Math and Science Education
• Education Leadership
• Teacher Education
• Education Law
• Education Finance
• Curriculum and Instruction
• Education Research Design
• Politics in Education
• Education Assessment and Testing
• Special (Inclusive) Education
• Counseling

Target Participants:
Representatives from MONE, MORA, KESRA and their subsidiary offices at the national, provincial, and district level who work in the education sector. This includes faculty and staff of state universities under MONE and MORA, as well as teachers and administrators of primary or secondary education.
All DBE stakeholder institutions working with DBE. This includes regional branches of MONE and MORA, education commissions of houses of representatives, education boards, education NGOs, local media in education, Regional Development Board (Bappeda). This includes senior teachers and administrators of secondary or primary school instruction.

Special Qualifications:
 
At least 3 years working experience in a related area of study.
Priority will be given to candidates from North Maluku, Sumatera, Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, and South Sulawesi.
Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Physically disabled candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
General Eligibility Requirements

1. Candidates must be citizens of Indonesia.
2. Candidates may not be employed by USAID, have salary paid by USAID, or be an employee of USAID contractors or grantees.
3. Candidates must have at least five pre-retirement years remaining with their organizations after completion of study.
4. Candidates must provide evidence of English ability. AED will only accept the following tests as the evidence of English ability:
   • Computer Based TOEFL, Internet Based TOEFL or International Paper Based TOEFL by Education Testing Service (ETS) and administered by recognized organizations from ETS (www.ets.org)
   • ITP TOEFL by ETS and score reported and administered by recognized organizations from ETS (www.ets.org)
   • IELTS provided by Cambridge ESOL Examinations and administered by British Council www.britishcouncil.org, International Development Program (IDP) www.idp.com and Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF) www.ialf.edu
5. Candidate’s Essay. Please follow the guidelines when writing the essay. There will be essay of 1 page. The topic of the essay should be: How does the training program you wish to pursue relate to your background and career? What new changes and contributions do you hto intope roduce in your field upon completion of the program? How will the program contribute to the position you will assume upon your return home?
6. Three recommendation forms. Each to be completed by the candidate’s present employer, or community service organization if currently not working (e.g. if you have performed voluntary work/service at an NGO, youth club, municipal project, etc.), and university instructors. Recommendations are to be submitted in sealed, and signed envelopes.
7. Curriculum Vitae: Candidates are required to submit their CV, which may be in a format of their choice.
8. Nomination letter: Candidates are required to submit a nomination letter signed and stamped by their current employer (or by a community service organization if currently not working) in a sealed envelope.
