The picture is the battery from Daihatsu Sunter, for its good will over my complaint on Daihatsu Solo's service. Thanks for your attention. I am myself now confuse what should I do with the battery because  I had bought a new one for my Daihatsu to solve battery  problem in a battery shop in Kartasura, Solo.

Jakarta Solo 22 Hours

I finished my trip to Solo on September 15, 2010. My family and I went back to Jakarta. It was nice trip. We were in Solo for about 8 days, from September 7 - September 15. We thought that it was not the top of arus balik, so our speed was not high. 

At 6 am, we started our trip from my mother in law's house. Around 7 we dropped into a friend of my wife, Bu Yanti, in Salatiga. Salatiga was a nice city, cold and fresh, especially in the morning. Here are some pictures of Bu Yanti's  in Salatiga :

Daihatsu Solo Made Me Disappointed

On last September 14, 2010 I went to Daihatsu Solo. Actually I went there because of my Service Advisor in Jakarta, Mr. Wigiatmoko from Daihatsu Sunter told me to go there, due to  my  battery  condition dropped. 

On last September 10, 2010 on Idul Fitri date I could not start my car because of the battery condition. According to Mr Wigiatmoko, there was a guarantee for battery for about two years, and he suggested me to go to Daihatsu Solo. First of all, before he suggested me to go to Daihatsu Solo, he asked me some question about the battery data. After he got some info from me, he suggested me to go there to have the battery changed.

Nasi Liwet and Tahu Kupat

During my traveling to Solo from 7th September until 15 September 2010 to celebrate Iedul Fitri with my wife's families and relatives I had some nice food.

One of my favourite food is Nasi Liwet and Tahu Kupat. These food are originally from Solo. The prices of these food is not expensive. By Rp. 5000 you can by one of them. The following are the pictures of the food :

This Nasi Liwet you can buy in the morning. Usually it is sold in the morning, because if we eat this food for our breakfast, the taste is wow....... very nice. You can buy this food with the range Rp. 3,000.00 - Rp. 7,500.00

This is Tahu Kupat. It is very nice and tasty food. You can buy this food in the following kiosk. Frankly speaking when I ate this food, I ate 3 plates of Tahu Kupat. I was not afraid to eat this food a lot because it contained many fibers and low fat and chollesterol. It is really healthy food.

Once you go to Solo, you can try this food. Trust me you will never regret to spend your time to eat this food.

Last night I went to Taman Sari restaurant to check the place for our family gathering.

After I checked I came to conclusion that although the restaurant was nice and big, but it's not suitable for family gathering.

I also bought some food. The taste of the food was ok.

This morning we went to Pondok Pesantren As Salam (moslem boarding school) not so far from our house. There were many people joined it.

We went there at 6 am and finish at 7.15 am.

heavy rain

This afternoon in Solo, well Kartosuro exactly, heavy rain fall. It was from 12.30 pm to 3 pm. The weather is so cold now.

I took the picture when rain fall. My mother's house is surrounded by sugar cane field.

Today I am in Solo to visit my mother in law and meet all family members of my wife and all the relatives.

I went to Solo yesterday morning and we arrived at 9pm last night. Thanks God that I was not trapped in heavy traffict jam yesterday.

At 5 I started to go. At 10 in Cirebon and then at 12.30 I was in Tegal. At 4 pm
I was in Kendal. At 4.30 pm I was in Batang and then Alas Roban. At 6 pm we entered Semarang and then at 6.30pm-7pm we had dinner in JJ RESTO almosg in Ungaran. At 9 I entered Kartosuro. At 9.30 pm We reached home.

Suprapto road usually is always in heavy traffict jam, but now in h-4 it's empty.

Same situation also happened in other places.

I passed through Benyamin Sueb Road. In h-6 of idul fitri day, many roads are empty, may be some people have already taken days off so they can go to their home town from now on.
